What is it?
Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder. It affects the cells of the brain that produce a chemical called “Dopamine” which is responsible for smooth and coordinated movements of the body. Hence, this condition is also called a “Movement Disorder.” There is currently no known cause for this disease, however, it’s gradual progression reduces one’s ability to move around with ease over time.
